The Cross-Cultural Communications course is open to those who have completed the Biblical Studies Course as well as those who may have done Bible training elsewhere and have been approved by their local church. The course provides excellent Bible-based training for those who wish serve in a cross-cultural context anywhere in the world, particularly among people groups who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Its unique blend of theory and hands-on practise is designed to not only develop your knowledge, but also your walk with the Lord.
This one year course is designed to equip believers, both practically and spiritually, to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to unreached people groups.
The very varied curriculum includes such subjects as Language Learning, Cultural Anthropology, Literacy, Bible Translation and Church Planting. Part of the course also involves five weeks of practical language and culture acquisition which is done while simulating living in a remote area.
Graduates with linguistic aptitude are offered a place on the Applied Linguistics Course.
